RECENT NEWS!

1. CCB is currently interviewing to fill two open internship opportunities.  Please email Wendy at director@childrencreatingbridges.org for more information.
   

2. On January 15th we hosted a fundraiser for Haiti featuring the Swedish band, Golbang.  They were absolutely fabulous and collectively we raised $1000 for Doctors Without Borders to help with the disaster relief in Haiti.  We now have Golbang CD’s available at our store!   PHOTOS OF EVENT    DAILY LOCAL NEWS: SLIDE SHOW
   

3. CCB President Dr. Mazhar Rishi & IPJID faculty member Jeffrey Heim will be teaching a course at Widener University (Exton Campus) beginning March 8, 2010.  Click here for more details.
   

4. CCB participated in the Martin Luther King Jr Day of Service on January 18, 2010.  Click here to view photos!
   

5. CCB’s President has article published in the Third Cross Cultural Thematic Issue published by FUTUREtakes, an international futurist magazine.  “Pakistan - Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow” by Dr. Mazhar Rishi (President, CCB)
   

6. (December 2009) For the third time since May 2008, CCB participated in a delegation to Syria to help Iraqi refugees living in around Damascus.  CCB once again joined Common Humanity in meeting with experts on the refugee crisis, religious leaders and the the Iraqi refugees.
   

7. (October 2009) CCB traveled to Ethiopia to visit with the children and staff of the Enat Alem orphanage in Addis Ababa.  CCB is committed to providing continued support and humanitarian aid to the orphanage.

JUST ARRIVED! 

CCB is now selling Putumayo’s French Caribbean CD.  Five of the songs featured on this CD are performed by Haitian artists.  Putumayo is donating 100% of the proceeds from the sale of each CD to the Red Cross.
